Saigon La Poste cafe is inspired by Sai Gon: The Former “Pearl of the Orient”, the city of Saigon was prosperous and known for its sophistication, flourishing economy, and rich culture. The design came up with many stories integrated into space, recalling the nostalgic memory of a magnificent Saigon in the past.

La Poste cafe is located in the group of many interesting works which the French have left in Saigon among Central Office, Notre Dame Cathedral. This is also the home of the doves - as a symbol of peace.

It's important to note that the design has criteria that conserve the “soul” of history and follow the way Central Office was built in the Gothic style. We confidently learn from the looping arches, the rhythm of interesting black and white or duck neck blue and yellow lime used popularly for painting in Indochina and colonial architecture.

To add value to the area of the cafeteria, our designers maximize the space to multiple functions, both for dine-in and art events. We applied the method “invisible partition” of folding glass door, as a result, we get the feeling that has no borderline between inside and outside.
