Arch. DAVID CHING HENG HOE

David has worked under the auspices of BEP Malaysia, Chartered Architects Malaysia, and Chua Ka Seng Singapore. Between 1989 and 1995, he served as the Director of Planning & Development at Jurong Bird Park. As the founder of David Ching Architects and the former CEO of Ong & Ong Vietnam, he has left his mark on iconic landmarks such as the Vietcombank Tower, Melinh Point, and Hilton Saigon. His extensive background in high-end architecture and urban planning serves as the foundation for his strategic leadership in large-scale international projects.

Currently, as Vice Chairman of Janus Group, David leverages his decades of expertise to oversee the group’s high-end real estate portfolio. He plays a pivotal role in synchronizing the group’s growth with global standards, from ESG compliance to practical innovation. His leadership focus remains on integrating smart-city solutions and international design excellence into the group’s flagship developments, ensuring long-term competitiveness and sustainable value for investors and the community.

A key focus of his tenure is providing strategic direction for the 4 trillion VND Commercial, Service, and Accommodation Complex in Da Nang, a cornerstone of Janus Group’s 2026 growth strategy. Spanning nearly 10,000 $m^2$ with 18 floors and 2 basements, this high-density, mixed-use development is engineered as a hub for both premium commerce and luxury lodging. Under David’s oversight, the complex integrates advanced Smart Building technologies and Net-Zero urban solutions, ensuring it is both energy-efficient and future-ready. By bridging sophisticated design with sustainable utility, this flagship project serves as a key driver for the group’s ecosystem, setting a new benchmark for modern urban living in Vietnam.
